The following 8-hour timeline is just an example of what I typically see at weddings. Please keep in mind this is just an example and I know that there can be many variations of this timeline depending on different aspects that go into the planning of your special day.

01:30pm - Photographer arrival // Photographer photographs details like dress, shoes...
02:00pm - Getting ready photos
02:30pm - Bridal pictures/Groom pictures if at same location/First look if applicable
03:00pm - Wedding party pictures // Ceremony venue pictures
03:30pm - Immediate family pictures
03:45pm - Wedding party gets tucked away from early arriving guests and touchups // Candids while waiting 04:25pm - Bridal party lines up for Ceremony
04:30pm - Ceremony
05:00pm - End of Ceremony // Family photos with Bride/Groom//

All guests but family and wedding party head to cocktail hour

05:30pm - Wedding Couple Session // Family and wedding party head to cocktail hour
06:00pm - Guests invited to find their seats // Grand entrance
06:30pm - First Dance
06:40pm - Welcome Toast and Prayer
07:00pm - Dinner
07:40pm - Toasts
08:00pm - Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances
08:30pm - Scheduled special dances // Couple Sunset Pictures if requested
09:00pm - Cake cutting/Bouquet/Garter toss
